It goes without saying that we all want a real estate agent we can trust. But is it possible that an agent can be too honest? One Florida agent begged that question when she posted a brutally honest listing for a property she was handling on Zillow. Naturally, Zillow Gone Wild reposted it and we've been cracking up ever since.
The listing, held by Philippa Main of Future Home Realty Inc, is for a two-bedroom home in Zephyrhills, FL. As the first sentence reads it's "literally the worst house on the street." If you thought that was rough, wait until you hear the rest.

"The roof leaks, the floor creaks, and there's a terrible draft, but this 3 bed, 1.5 bath home is very open concept. And by that we mean the inside is open to the outside because several of the windows are broken," the listing reads. It continues to note that this home would be an ideal place "to stage your next post-apocalyptic zombie movie" as it has "got bizarre and ominous energy." It's also noted that the home has a detached foundation, the kitchen has nothing but a window, and there is no HVAC system.
Due to the state of the home, it's clear that this property is not move-in ready and intended for someone who is looking to flip a home. The listing even notes: "Have you ever watched HGTV and thought, I could do that!? If so, pack up your tape measure and start Googling how to identify a load-bearing wall because it's time to put your money where your mouth is!" The seller has also never even seen the property.
Interested? Still laughing? The home is currently going for $69,000. Although, as of Friday, February 19, there was one pending offer according to its Zillow page. Perhaps brutal honesty did work in this case.
