Another day in the video game industry, another developer that’s urged its community not to send death threats after disappointing news. We’ve already seen this recently with the changes to Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and now Cyberpunk 2077’s latest delay has prompted a similar statement from Senior Game Designer Andrzej Zawadzki.
He posted the following message on Twitter:
Earlier today, the Polish studio announced that, despite going gold, Cyberpunk 2077 would launch on 10th December as opposed to 19th November. This gives the team a little extra time to work on the title’s day one patch, which will presumably clean up some critical issues. It pointed out that testing the title across so many platforms has been challenging, and that’s understandable when you consider that PlayStation alone accounts for three different specifications: PS4, PS4 Pro, and PS5!
