ROCKTON (WREX)-Downtown Rockton put on a Spring business open house Friday and Saturday in order to get local residents out to explore the city and support the local community.
Multiple businesses participated in the open house from Frosted Farmhouse to Local Blessings.
The open house gave the local residents the opportunity to shop but also discovered what Downtown Rockton has to offer.
"The spring open house in Rockton had an amazing turn out. There is nothing better than seeing the sidewalks in Rockton busy with people enjoying this town! It was a preview of what the summer will be like! It’s great to see the community come out and support local," says Whitney Frost, the owner of Frosted Farmhouse.
The City of Rockton will offer monthly outdoor activities throughout the summer but the next big event will be at the beginning of August in time for the fall 2021 open house.
