BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) — An elderly couple was injured after their SUV crashed into a house on 7th Avenue in Beaver Falls on Saturday morning.
The SUV hit the house so hard it ended up becoming stuck about five feet into the home’s living room.
Luckily, the family living inside the home were upstairs when the car hit the house and none of the occupants were injured.
“I come down the stairs and there’s a Jeep sitting there in the living room and everything’s all smashed up,” said Zane Woelfel, one of the occupants of the home. “Luckily, everyone was OK, because usually we’re sitting on the front porch around this time of day.”
The home was so badly damaged that it had to be reinforced before the SUV could be removed.
The Red Cross is assisting Zane and the family.
