Liverpool, N.Y. – Demand for one-level living is ever increasing here in Central New York and around the country.
Not only is a significant portion of our community growing older with downsizing becoming a serious choice for many older Central New Yorkers, even younger buyers are attracted to the allure of one-floor living and the often mentioned "open-concept."
River Grove by Seneca Custom Homes, a new patio home development in the Clay/Liverpool area, seeks to meet that desire with affordable, brand-new housing.
“There is currently low inventory for ranch-style homes,” says realtor James Burnham of Coldwell Banker Prime Properties. “One-floor living is highly desirable right now.”
An example of what the builder is offering can be seen now at the model home located at 8196 Rachel Court located off Gaskin Road between Route 57 and Route 31.
The homes will feature open concept living with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen, dining and living rooms. Each home will come equipped with two bedrooms with spacious walk-in closets. The master bedroom has an attached full bathroom with step-in shower.
While the emphasis is on one-level living, the model is a two-story home, with loft space upstairs. The builder believes that buyers would be interested in using this flexible space for an office, additional family room or for visiting children or grandchildren while there is also an option to convert half of the loft into a third bedroom and third bathroom.
All homes will come with first-floor laundry rooms, front sitting porches, a full basement and a two-car garage.
Many upgrades are available, including a variety of custom finishes, hardwood flooring, granite in the kitchen, living room fireplace, landscaping packages and more.
The model is available now for a discounted price of $239,900. (Base prices for one-floor units start at $219,900. There are no HOA fees nor restrictive covenants.)
“Keep your eyes out for a new one-story model across the street," Burnham said, "as the feedback has led us to believe that is what many of our consumers are looking for at this time.”
Burnham makes it very clear that the time to buy is now, as the builder expects to raise prices very soon.
“The price is going up,” he said. “Hurry now to enjoy pre-construction deals. Pick your lot, pick your finishes and be in your brand-new home this summer.”
An extended open house is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lenders and refreshments will be on hand.
Private showings are available seven days a week, contact realtor James Burnham or Timothy Connors for an appointment. Contact information is below.
