Fire crews called early Tuesday morning for a house fire in Whitehall Township arrived to find a garage in flames.
The fire was reported a little before 2:30 a.m. at home at 347 Sixth St. in the township, which sits at the corner of Sixth and Pennsylvania streets.
A message left for the township fire chief on Tuesday was not immediately returned. No one was injured, and the blaze is under investigation, channel CBS 3 reported.
In videos and photos from the scene, crackling flames can be seen in the back of the garage as sparking live wires repeatedly pop in the backyard.
A fire truck pulls up and within a minute a firefighter starts hosing down the garage. Smoke can be seen coming out of the front garage door.
By 8:30 a.m. Tuesday fire crews were still at the scene. Most of the fire damage appeared to be in the rear of the garage. Some siding on a back porch was melted by the flames.
Records show the home was purchased by Michael Hanna in 1991.
