FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Legislation aimed at legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes could be taken up on the House floor as early as Thursday, according to some lawmakers.
While some organizations like the Family Foundation of Kentucky have concerns, a poll shows Kentuckians are overwhelmingly supportive.

Four neighboring states, West Virginia, Ohio, Missouri and Illinois have legalized medical marijuana.
A similar bill advanced to the full House in the last legislative session, but never came up for a vote.
