A Dodge pickup truck rammed into a Walnut Creek home on Saturday, coming to rest several feet inside the structure and causing major damage.

No one was injured at the home near Hawthorne Drive in the Joaquin Ranch neighborhood of Walnut Creek, but the solo driver of the truck was wheeled out in a stretcher.

A woman inside the home was sitting at her kitchen table just feet away from the truck’s path.

Walnut Creek police have not determined what caused the crash and authorities are still investigating whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
